BrickCon has come and gone. and with it so did my money. Picked up a bunch of items form BrickArms including a couple of bats.
Here are some brickcon pictures in form of a slide show:
Had lots of fun and we will be going to BrickFest 09 so stay tune for some awesome post about that.
I’m also working on a few things such as my new Forestman hide out.
Decided to show off all the minifigs that we have been collecting since we started our project.

here is a close up on some of them.

Here is roommates large collection

sorry no closeups on those.
here are the newest members to the collections thou

Not so much left to do on the town. We have moved on to building a medievil setting. As you can see in these sets of photos. We are mainly going to focus on forestmen and Wolvesmen, there are some fantasy era minifigs in there as well.

We were finally able to find a gas station and police station at our local Lego store. This meant that we had to make some serious changes in the town, no more wolf brigade park, and now we really need another table for our town.
Here is a picture of the awesome Pizzeria Ryan made:

Next up is the Gas station itself, I was really impressed by this, carwash is awesome. too bad it currently has no exit.
We did go ahead and removed a bunch of minifigs from the town so theres alot less action going on but theres still a couple of favorites out there like these fellows:

And ofcourse blacktron dude is always getting into trouble:
See ya guys next time.

So I decided I should finally get around to actually posting in this blog.
As you may or may not know, Cesar and I have decided to start making a lego town and will be coming up with a blog to document the misadventures we have in paying homage to our inner children. Eventually we’ll probably move over to a custom interface and ditch the whole movable type thing, but it all depends on how lazy I am on getting the code up and running.
So anyway… A bit about myself! I’m Cesar’s roommate and a fellow legophile. I’d probably have to say that I enjoy the Space themes the most. At least in terms of the sets. You can’t do too much with landscaping when it comes to space sets (Unless you use some other sort of Earth-like environment). I may try to explore this option at some point, though. The original Space Police set probably is one of my most favorites sets, and one that I’m actually trying to get a complete set of now.
Cesar and I have been working over the past month in increasing our lego collections. We’ve purchased a good portion of the "City" set, and a handful of other ones. Unfortunately none of the other current sets out are all that appealing, with the exception maybe of the new Castle/Fantasy set, but I’m not sure if I’m up for getting any of that set right now.
Anyway, I’m rambling! I basically just wanted to introduce myself and then post some pictures of my current space police collection. So enjoy!

Here’s the first addition to my Space Police collection. This is the Message Decoder, driven by what could only be described as a porn star from the 70′s.

Today I received my second addition to my Space Police collection – the Galactic Peace Keeper. This, of course, is the "Before" picture.

And here’s the "After" picture. It was pretty fun to build.

There’s hidden wings under the "Police" logo that fold out to provide necessary guns whne fighting those evil Blacktron.

Speaking of those Blacktron scoundrels, we caught one, and it’s time to load him up into the transport cell.

Success! He does seem oddly happy for someone who was just caught, though. O.o

Here’s the current condition of my SP-Striker. This is one of the Electric Lights & Sounds sets. You can see one of the white pieces with lights. I’m still missing some parts for this set. They’ve all been ordered, but are in various parts of transit en-route to me. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it soon!
I’d actually like to mess around more with the Electric Light & Sound stuff. The pieces are a tad spendy, though, but maybe I’ll make a building that lights up someday, or something.
And here’s a few pictures of all of my Space Police I collection so far.

You’ll notice that I’ve given one of the Space Police officers a black cape and red light saber. I just liked the way it looked, so I figured it’d be pretty funny to do. There’s also a gray droid that I’m working on (Again, still collecting pieces). I’d like to replace the gray pieces with black/blue pieces eventually, so it fits in with the rest of the set.
Anyway! That’s enough posting for now. Hope to post again, soon!

Tusken Raiders have come to visit our little town.
Here are some old Lego sets I brought out from back in 2002/2003 maybe around 2001.
First of its my TIE-Bomber:
Its an awesome set IMO, loved the launcher and the bomb dropper, not sure how it would actually work in space lol. Those guys in front are raptors from a lego action scene, belive it was raptor raid or something like that.
Next up is a couple of pictures from the ewok attack, I can’t belive they are selling for so much on ebay!! I guess its hard to find ewoks. Mine are currently hunting a dog on the city but here you can see the flier and the launcher thing.

The ewoks attack set also came with a speedster that i have in the town, you can see it in the phase II pictures.
Next up is a blast from the past. This was my favorite minifig when I was young, I’m so glad that I got it back!! hurray for Blacktron I minifigs.

New floor plan setup. extended at one end for a bit more room to play with. We went ahead and moved the Firestation from one end of the city to the other. Seems to look better with the curved road piece. Also added our first try at modular house building. Its a taco stand! at least thats what I call it.
This set of pictures is where I too one of my favorite pictures. The cop looks so serious as he holds up his sign. In the background, one of the firefighters is running to put off a fire.
Went ahead and placed the road plates down now theres a bit more structure then phase I. Below is a picture of the first top view of Phase II.

This next picture shows the tiling of the sidewalk. We are thinking of creating the tiling using 2×1 dark grey plate pieces, once we get more 2×1 light grey pieces they will run at the edge of sidewalk for accent.
