HigePiyo
The story of a baby chicken that has a beard. seems like each episode is only about 5 minutes long. Higepiyo acts like a middle aged man, drinking too much, eating too much extremly weird series. At the end of the episode they hinted at Higepiyo escaping from some research lab.
I will probably continue watching this series just out of curiosity.
Slap Up Party Arad Senki
First Impression: It seems to be a comedy fantasy. It starts out serious as Roxy a fighter unwillingly killed a demon causing the whole world to be populated by demons, orcs and goblins. Now Roxy in ghost form accompanies Baron in order to help him fix his demon arm.
The animation is very average. Nothing to be impresse by. The story is interesting but I will probably not follow this series. The OP song is very average. The ED I like “Hateshinai Sekai” by YMCK. Nintendo 8 bit type of music with the acompaning video of all the characters in 8 bit form, very cute.
Sengoku Basara
Based on the game with the same title. Its a big brawl type of anime, set during the time of warring nations lots of armies fighting for control of Japan. The best part about this anime is one of the main characters Date Masamune and his troops. the first words out of his mouth while riding his horse with exhaust pipes and motorcycle handles was ” Are you Ready guys?! Put ya guns on!” This was just awesome! I really enjoy Yankee dramas/anime/manga. I think its just awesome premise in mixing medieval japan with delinquent Japanese youth. To me thats just a recipe for awesome! I will probably continue to watch this series.
